Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Dale: Imagine that you have to wait until you arrive at your destination to use the telephone, or that you have to heat your food up on the stove, and even more shocking that you just paid 48 cents a gallon for gas. The year was 1978. My outside sales career with PepsiCo took me from Dallas to Birmingham, and now I am back home to take care of my aging parents. I also took a new postion with a small company selling snacks and beverages to owners of convenience stores. It's all been good. My wife, Karen, has home schooled our boys and we live on five acres. Come and visit us sometime. |

I'm married to Randy (24 years) and have lived in Houston since '83. We have three kids - daughter a freshman at Baylor, son a freshman in high school and a daughter in Kindergarten. We are also planning to travel to Vietnam this fall to adopt a two-year old girl. Kids keep me young so who knows when we'll stop bringing them into our family! Our family loves to travel and spend lots of time on the lake. I haven't been to B.R. in about 8 or 9 years so I'm really looking forward to the big reunion. |

I too am amazed it has been 30 years (and yes, I do own a mirror, and yes, denial is a wonderful thing – I loved reading everyone’s entries). My husband Bobby, who I met while at LSU thanks to Sharon Butcher, celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this year. We have two children. The oldest, Emily (21), is a senior at LSU finishing her mass communications degree, and the youngest Mark (20), a sophomore at LSU enrolled in chemical engineering.
We moved to Mobile in the mid-1990s, so we feel kind of lucky the kids chose our alma mater. I scaled back my career when we came to Mobile, working part-time and keeping one foot in the professional world doing local marketing, national PR, and writing and editing (you’re right, it does sound like more than one foot!). But it was enough to give me time to be a soccer mom and a youth leader at our church. We come home often for LSU football and family functions, and I hope to be at the reunion. I’m working on photos (I’m usually the photographer!). |
