HI EVERYONE,

I WAS GLAD WHEN RHONDA CONTACTED ME THE OTHER NIGHT.  I WAS JUST WONDERING IF A 30 YEAR REUNION WAS BEING FORMED.  I GUESS WE ARE JUST NOW SLOWING DOWN TO THINK ABOUT THOSE KIND OF THINGS... HAH!  I HAVE A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD THAT MAKES ME THINK OF HOW I HANDLED OR WOULD HAVE HANDLED SOME  OF HER CHALLENGES THAT SHE HAS NOW.  ME, I BLEW OFF A LOT OF THINGS SHE IS GETTING HUNG UP ON NOW.... TOO MANY STRESSES.

Hard to think its been 30 years since we were at Broadmoor. 
   I live in Kentwood, La.now, lived out in Torrance, Ca. working in the petro/chemical industry for 16 years. I am now very lucky to do something that I love to do and that is restoring classics and building bikes.
    I have a son 25, he graudated from L.S.U., and works at NASA in Stennis, MS.as an mechanical eng.
     Cant wait to see everyone.

I actually should have graduated in 79', but was absolutely brilliant and decided to get out with the rest of you in 78'.  I'd sorda be crashing the reunion if I showed up in October, although I did stalk some of you from Broadmoor Jr. High as well and therefore, figure I should be grandfathered in.  So I may just show up afterall.

Left Baton Rouge after attending 2 Semesters at LSU and flunking out of Organic Chemistry (I guess I wasn't meant to be a nurse afterall).  Took an entirely different path, worked for a Government Contracting Facility in Florida (no math or chemistry required) for about 6 years.  Moved to Los Angeles and was the Buyer for KLH (audio speakers) only to become later involved in the Health Industry as a Marketing Manager for the Corporate Office back in Florida - East Coast this time.  Somewhere in all this I married (twice) and gave birth to my absolute pride and joy daughter , Gabrielle, who will be turning 28 this August.  Still living on Florida's East Coast and now promote mostly Smooth Jazz Concerts, but will bend my morals every now and then and bring in the Country stuff *UGH*.  

My Life is good and so I enjoy it and continue to embrace it with my husband of 13 years.....The best of life to ya'll.

I am currently living in Calgary, Canada.  Damian works for Chevron and we seem to move quite a bit.  

Our children both graduated from LSU.  Chris (LSU 07) is 'living the dream' in Los Angeles trying to become an actor.  In other words, he is auditioning, taking classes and working at LA Food Show.  Sarah (LSU 08) is living in Austin and working for Dell in their small business department so if you need computers ask for her!

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Sorry I missed the reunion - just found out about it this past weekend (as well as this website). Hopefully I can make the next one. While I started college at LSU, I finished at Univeristy of Texas at Dallas. Went to work with KPMG in Dallas, transferred to the Chicago office, then accepted a role with Disney in Orlando - been there ever since. During that time I married a Baton Rougan (Babs Duffy from St Joseph's Academy) and had three great kids (now 24, 23, and 21). Hope to see you at the next reunion!!!

Hello classmates, wish I could have made it to the reunion. I was out of town, but looks like everyone had a great time.  Thanks to all the people who made this possible. I'm single previously married for 21 yrs to Cliff Gueringer who passed away in 2003.  I have a 29 yr old daughter, Brittany.  She and her husband Micah live in Houston and became proud parents in Aug so I'm now grandmother to Maggie Elizabeth. I look forward to attending the 35th reunion and seeing everyone.

My wife, Patricia (76 Episcopal grad), and I have been married for 20 years.  Our son, Austin, is 17 and daughter, Katherine, is 14.  We have lived in the Dallas suburb of Highland Village for 14 years.

Brian Haymon and I graduated from UT-Austin in 1982.  I later moved back to BR and received an MBA from LSU in 1991.  We then moved to Connecticut, where I received my Ph.D. in Finance from UConn in 1994.

I have been a Professor of Finance and Real Estate at University of North Texas since 1994.  I am Associate Dean for the College of Business.

So sorry for doing such a poor job of staying in touch.  We hope to see you in October.

I am still teaching dance!! I think I will be dancing forever! I have two grown children, Brittany 27 and Brinnon 23.  Brittany was just married in Cabo San Lucas this past November......the wedding was so beautiful! She lives in Santa Barbara, CA.  Brinnon  works fulltime and just received a promotion!! I am divorced. I live in Prairieville, La.  I own two dance studios, one in Baton Rouge and one in Maurepas. Life is good!!!
