From Julia :
After graduating from LSU I moved to Dallas. There I met and married my husband, Peter. We had two children, Matthew and Jennifer, while living in Dallas. We then moved to the Chicago area where our third child, Lauren, was born. In 1997 we moved to Denver. We have been here since. This is the longest I have ever lived anywhere. Our 13 year old Golden Retriever died this summer, but we just got a new puppy. Thanks to everyone working so hard on this reunion. It has been really fun reading about everyone.

Can't believe its been 30 years!  I'm still in Baton Rouge, Sherwood Forest, a lifetime in the 70815 zipcode.  I'm still married to Wayne and will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in October.  Our oldest daughter Morgan attends Baton Rouge Community College and wants to go into Dental Hygeine.  She is also a graduate of Broadmoor High School Class of 2007!  Going back to BHS for her activities was so strange!  The Auditorium and Gymnasium still smell the same! Ugh!  Brings back alot of great memories though!  Our youngest daughter Jordan is a Sophomore at St. Michael's Catholic High School.  She an Honor Student and a member of the Girls Basketball team.  She plays year round and just finished her 5th season in AAU Basketball.  I am still working in the dental field and just reduced my hours to a part time status.  We love to travel; but are kept close to home with Wayne's job.  He is the Director of Mosquito Abatement of West Baton Rouge Parish.  His work is never done!  I am still playing tennis and doing volunteer work at St. Michael's.  Look forward to seeing you all at the reunion!

WOW! Yall look soooooo wonderful!  It's so good to see yall !  Life is so full is it not?!

Jeff and I  have been married since Jan.81 and have been submerged in 5 sons -starting in Nov.82.  I think i can say the 80's and 90's were a blurr.  I felt eternally pregnant most of the time, but have felt so blessed that God would give me 5 boys.  My oldest 2 sons are married to sisters and have given us 6 grandchildren in 4 1/2 years. (They call me "Hunny" and Jeff  "Pops") That means that most of our meals together total 15 people min. - Jeff and I just pass out when they all leave !  HA!!!!

Our Sons:

Jordan (26) Wife -Alissa, Sons - Caleb, Eli, Micah - live in Denham Springs, LA
Joshua(24) Wife-LeighAnn, Daughters - Andi, Lainey, Lucy - live in Ruston, LA
Jon Marc (22) Hillsdale College OK -On Soccer Team
Joel (18) Highschool Sr. - Football
Jacob(14) Freshman - Band & Soccer

It has been great being back in Louisiana.
We live in beautiful Saint Francisville, just north of BR.  We were in Texas for 20 years and came back to LA in 2001.  Jeff was CEO of WST Electric when we went through Hurricane Katrina and CEO of Demco as we  just went through Hurricane Gustav. !

Lately, I've gone back to school at LSU !  I'm full time - is that not nuts?!!!   But it has been so great and i've enjoyed it much.  I'm the "Old One" on campus !  I'm probably in some of your kids classes ha!  it's been a dream to go back to finish what i started - ....... IT'S SO HARD  !!! :>

But, all in all, our lives are very full..... just as i've seen you all write about your own on these sweet pages.  Looking forward to seeing or hearing from you .....

hugs and kisses from 30 years!!!

Jodi (a.k.a "Hunny")

30 years.  Wow!  A lot has happened in 30 years.  After high school, I attended Texas A&M University where I earned a BS in Building Construction, College of Architecture.  For many years, I traveled with a large general contractor from project to project.  My career has led me from Houston, TX, to Huntsville, TX,  to Bossier City, LA, to Jackson, MS, to Brent, AL, to Baltimore, MD, to Odessa, TX, to N. Little Rock, AR, to Orlando, FL, to Miami, FL, and finally back to Houston, TX.  Weary from being a road warrior, I recently quit my job and went to work for a Houston contractor.  I bought a house, and I am trying to settle down and lead somewhat of a normal life.  I have been single for almost 20 years.  I have one son, Paul, 26, who has been in the US Air Force overseas for 9 years.  I plan to attend the reunion and look forward to seeing everyone after all these years.

Rock on Class of '78!  Thanks to all that are making the class reunon happen.

I have been happily married to my wife Julie for 22 years this coming May.  We have lived in Dallas / Ft. Worth for 21 years.  I have two kids - Courtney 17 who is a senior next year at Grapevine High School and Joseph 15 who is a sophmore.

My job finds me at DFW airport on Monday mornings taking me to other places to work (mainly in the US but I have gone to some pretty cool and uncool places internationally).  But most weeks I come home on Thursday nights and spend the weekends attending kid activities.

I do get back to BR a couple of times a year.  My parents still live there, we try to attend at least one LSU football game and I still ride in the Krewe of Endymion with Steve Hayden every year in New Orleans.  This year was our 18th year.
